The passion for artisan cheese from our region arrived this Wednesday at Madrid Fusión, Spain’s most influential international gastronomy congress. There, Quesos Carlos Navas had the honor of offering a tasting session featuring some of our specialties within the program organized by Salamanca en bandeja, the gastronomic club promoted by the Provincial Council of Salamanca.
Our master cheesemaker, Carlos Navas, shared the stage with the Provincial Deputy for Tourism, Juan Carlos Zaballos, who stated in an interview with COPE Peñaranda that “the Provincial Council of Salamanca brings our finest gastronomy to Madrid Fusión to promote it and make it known.”
An international showcase for Spanish cuisine
Madrid Fusión brings together each year in the capital some of the most prestigious chefs from Spain and around the world. This edition focused on the reasons that made Spanish cuisine shine three decades ago, highlighting the role of innovation and tradition in contemporary gastronomy.
