Quesos Carlos Navas showcased its products at the Gustoko 2022 Fair, held in Bilbao from March 4 to 6, under the umbrella of the gastronomic promotion club “Salamanca en bandeja” of the Provincial Council of Salamanca, which brought together eleven agri-food companies associated with this quality label. After its participation in the 2020 edition, which hosted seven companies from the province, this time the presence increased to eleven members sharing a stand.

Following the success of the 2020 edition, which brought together seven companies from the province, this time the presence grew significantly, with eleven members having at their disposal a stand of 80 square meters, divided into two clearly defined areas.

The first multipurpose space was dedicated both to promoting Salamanca as a gastronomic destination and to hosting various business meetings scheduled with managers and purchasing heads from gourmet channels, hotels, specialty stores and major retailers in Northern Spain — an area of vital importance for the commercialization of our province’s products.

The second day was dedicated to direct sales to the final public, with each of the participating companies having its own counter.

The companies associated with “Salamanca en bandeja” that took part in this new promotional action were: Jamones Faustino Prieto, Soleae, Hergaher Morcillas y Farinatos, Obleas Pan de Ángel, Río de la Miel, Patatas Fritas Fátima, Quesos Amado Charra, Quesos de Hinojosa, Quesos Carlos Navas, Bodega Julián Madruga and Bodega Dominio de la Sierra.

For its part, Gustoko 2022 offered a wide program of parallel activities including professional tastings, showcookings, tastings and pairings, product and tourism presentations, talks and demonstrations of gastronomy, folklore and crafts.

The third edition of the Gustoko Fair closed its doors with record numbers: more than 300 producers and 12,000 visitors came together throughout the weekend, at a Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) transformed for the occasion into a large marketplace.
